Finance Administrator
As our new Finance Administrator, you will join a small finance team, in Mons, which consists of four people in total. You will be interacting with finance teams across Europe and doing the following activities:
· Creating and sending financial documents to different departments.
· Checking invoices for accuracy before the payments can be authorised.
· Creating vendors/new suppliers and their associated purchase orders in our financial system (DRMIS).
· Conducting post-payment verifications.
· Keeping up-to-date with contracting regulations, compliance and financial policies.
· Compliance checking.
· Maintaining the shared Outlook mailbox and responding to emails as required.
· Receiving inbound telephone enquiries and making outbound telephone calls as needed.

NON-NEGOTIABLE FACTORS HAVING AN IMPACT ON YOUR ELIGIBILITY FOR EMPLOYMENT
1. You must be a citizen of a current NATO member country.
2. You must be willing to undergo a background investigation in order to obtain a valid security clearance certificate from your own NATO member country (if required for the specific position). Only citizens of a NATO member country are able to obtain a NATO security clearance.
3. If your country of citizenship has compulsory military service (conscription), you must have completed any initial term of compulsory military service (conscription) required of you under the provisions of your country of citizenship’s legislation. If your country of citizenship does not have compulsory military service (conscription), then this does not apply to you.
4. You must be willing to provide the required documentation in order to obtain ‘reliability status’ (locally conducted background check which must be completed before we are able to issue an employment contract).

· Completion of secondary education or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience. An equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience is defined as two years secondary education and experience, usually gained over two years, working in an office environment

· English
Essential Experience (must be clearly evidenced on your CV and/or motivation letter)
· Experience providing financial administrative support in an office environment.
· Experience in using financial and/or accounting systems such as SAP or other commercial accounting systems
· Experience using Microsoft Office Applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
